Inspired by Joanna Goddard's "Fall Challenges" last year, I decided to bring it back and create my own set. Fall and winter are always a time of reflection for me, but it's easy to get swept up in all of the holidays and forget to slow down. I'll set one challenge a week for the month of November. And since things are more fun (and more motivating!) to do as a group... will you join me?
Reading is a great brain exercise, and can help you settle your thoughts before going to sleep each night. I've attempted reading each morning, but my routine is too busy :) Before bed is best for me, so that's the goal I'm setting for myself - 5 minutes each night before going to sleep. I have a few books on my iPad that I've been putting off finishing, and this is the time to do it! Here's the one I'm planning on reading.
Pick a book and make a commitment to finish it this month. You might finish it over the course of time - like I most likely will - or you might start and finish all in one weekend. Maybe you're traveling for Thanksgiving and plan on getting your reading in then. Any time is a good time :)
And please share! I'd love to know if you're joining me, and what you're planning on reading. You can comment here or if you post about it on social media, hashtag #tpafallchallenges. We're going to feel so refreshed at the end of the month; I just know it :)
