Dallas Eats... Village Baking Co.

I drive by this precious bakery every day, and decided one morning that I had to go in. I'm so glad I did!

Village Baking Co. has been around for 9 years, and is consistently providing the most high quality baked goods you can find. What blew my mind was the sheer variety of items... when Kelsi and I stopped by, they had about 18 different types of pastries out on the counter, and kept bringing out more! They also sell fresh breads, granola, jams, and butters.

Is your mouth watering yet? We asked the sweet girls working what their personal favorites are. Neither of them could possibly pick one item! They suggested the almond croissants (they sell out fast), the ginger-lemon scones, and the seasonal pumpkin-cream cheese puffs. Yum.

I picked up a pumpkin pastry, Kelsi grabbed an almond croissant, and we took our coffees to sit outside at their cafe tables. It's the perfect spot for catching up with friends - right off 75, but feels so secluded.

I highly recommend Village Baking Co., even if it's just to stop in on your way to work (I recently learned I have a co-worker who is a regular - twice-weekly visits!) . It is more than delicious!
