I really like packing... and from the moment we started planning our honeymoon, I knew I wanted what I brought with me to mix and match easily. Here are a few things I brought:

1. Hat from Target, 2. Linen shirt from J. Crew (no longer available), 3. Shorts from J. Crew, 4. Necklace from Kate Spade, 5. Sunglasses from Ray Ban, 6. Swimsuit from J. Crew (similar), 7. PJ set from Eberjey

I went with a red/white/blue theme, and I typically end up wearing clothes that are somewhere on the line of being casual and dressy. In addition to the staple pieces above, I brought a navy striped maxi dress that doubled as a swimsuit cover up, a white button up tunic that functioned as a cover up (I'm certain I was wearing it most of the trip), a pair of red shorts, and a navy swimsuit. Of course I brought a few other items as well, but all fell in the same color category.

I mostly wanted to be comfortable, and I wanted all of these pieces to be things I wear over and over again. If you were to ask my girl friends, they could probably describe to you everything that went with me because I've worn it all countless times. I like what I like, ya know?

Chris got me that sweet necklace as a wedding gift, and I've been wearing it ever sine. Both of my swimsuits came from J. Crew (as do most things) and are incredibly comfortable... and supportive. I fall into the category of "women with curves" and it's so hard for me to find a modestly cut swimsuit that doesn't age me. Plus, they have sales often. I got my swimsuits on sale, and when they were doing a period of free shipping/free returns. J. Crew for the win!

I would definitely recommend packing with the color theme strategy. It made getting dressed a no-brainer! It also really helped me not to over-pack. If you have any other questions, feel free to comment!
